As a JavaScript Engineers (React) you develop and maintain projects with your knowledge of modern JavaScript and React. You are experienced in crafting complex web applications using the latest JavaScript technologies. You are technically proficient enough to solve hard problems independently, but also understand that collaborative solutions and utilizing the team can often help achieve a better end goal for the client. This role is fully remote and is open to applicants located anywhere around the globe.

Responsibilities

• Architecting, and building React/JavaScript projects in both client and server-side environments.
• Writing modular, extensible, and performant modern JavaScript.
• Write modular and performant HTML and CSS.
• Ability to make smart design decisions. Occasionally filling in gaps left by designers e.g. interpreting how a layout should be presented on small screens.
• Effectively collaborate with designers throughout the design and engineering process.
• Working with the team to connect engineering deliverables to client business objectives.

Requirements

• At least 4 years experience building scalable web-based JavaScript applications use API data.
• Experience developing web-based applications using ES6+, React, and Node.
• Experience in the architectural concepts behind React, such as: state and data management, JSX and creating a component system.
• Being collaborative, self-motivated, and an "always-learning" person, excited to create great web experiences.
• Experience using Git.

Nice to have

• Experience with React Native.
• Experience with coding PHP, specifically for WordPress as a platform beyond the typical "blog" use cases.
• Experience with WordPress Block Editor.
• Experience in the understanding of HTML and CSS including cross-browser compatibility, performance and WCAG accessibility compliance.
• Remote working experience appreciated.
